Living a Life of Fire: Rekindling Passion for God

There’s something unmistakable about a person who lives with spiritual fire—an unshakable passion for God, a boldness in faith, and a heart that burns to see others come to know Jesus. This kind of life doesn’t happen by accident. It’s cultivated, chosen, and sustained through deep connection with the Holy Spirit.

Paul writes:

“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”
– Romans 12:11 (NIV)

A life of fire is one that refuses to grow cold, even when trials come. It’s a life that reflects the very nature of God—holy, consuming, and life-giving.

Here are three ways to keep the fire of God burning in your heart:

·       Stay in the Word – God's Word is fuel for our faith. It reveals His heart and keeps us aligned with His will. (Jeremiah 20:9)

·       Live by the Spirit – The Holy Spirit ignites us with power and boldness. Ask daily for a fresh filling. (Acts 1:8)

·       Serve with passion – Use your gifts to impact others. Service fans the flames of purpose and joy. (2 Timothy 1:6)

In a world that often encourages complacency, God is calling us to burn bright—not just for a season, but for a lifetime. Let the fire of His presence refine you, empower you, and set you ablaze for His glory.

“For our God is a consuming fire.”
Hebrews 12:29

Don’t settle for a flicker. Live fully lit—for Christ, for eternity.
